Change is in the Air

I went for my routine morning walk on this last Monday of August, and it seemed a bit special and/or different to me. First of all, the weather dropped a bit. It was noticeable, beginning this weekend. I went out with my standard loose shorts and tank top, and it felt chilly.

I don’t remember ever feeling a bit mournful that Summer is about to end, but this morning I somewhat did. I used to welcome it because I just loved Fall and I wasn’t too fond of really hot temperatures, but everything changes when you have a kid, indeed. I just enjoyed being out with my toddler-working out, playing, and soaking in the sun and its warmth that I wonder what will I do when it’s gone. But of course, every season has it’s charm, and you just look forward to something different and enjoy it too.

I also noticed this morning that the school buses and kids were out and about. So, I assume it’s back to school day and it’s cute. It made me think about my own kid, and him being school age in a few more years, and how would it be.

The end of August always felt like a transition, and today is no exception. Change is beautiful, indeed. You gotta let go of something, and start something new. Today felt a bit melancholic, but melancholic can also be nice. Fall is my favorite season, after all.
